Watershed Conservation Centre
The Watershed Conservation Centre is the headquarters of the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA), located at Fanshawe Conservation Area in London. This award-winning facility has achieved LEED Platinum certification, making it one of the most energy-efficient office buildings in Canada with an EnergyStar rating of 98. The 36,000 square foot centre features cutting-edge green infrastructure including geothermal systems, green roofs, native landscaping, and rainwater collection systems.
The building serves as both an administrative centre and an educational showcase for sustainable design and environmental stewardship. It hosts community events, workshops, and tours focused on conservation, sustainability, and environmental education.
