Nature London

Nature London (officially The McIlwraith Field Naturalists of London, Ontario Incorporated) is dedicated to the preservation and enjoyment of nature. Founded in 1864 as the London Branch of the Entomological Society of Canada, the organization has evolved into a comprehensive natural history and conservation group.

The organization’s mandate is fourfold: to acquire and disseminate knowledge of natural history; to conserve wildlife and protect its natural habitat; to stimulate public interest in nature protection and preservation; and to develop special interest groups in natural history fields. Nature London operates under the motto “To Preserve and Enjoy Nature.”
