Established in 2000, the Jonathon Bancroft-Snell Gallery has evolved into a mecca for ceramic collectors in Canada. The gallery showcases the talents of over 125 of Canada’s top ceramic artists and is committed to providing a comprehensive nation-wide representation of Canadian ceramics. The gallery holds the largest collection of museum-quality ceramics in the country, with works ranging from affordable mugs to large sculptures.

The gallery also features the work of talented painters, woodturner Doug Magrath, fiber artist Nancy Latchford, and bronze sculptor George Shadford. Each year the gallery hosts a variety of exhibitions ranging from solo shows to group exhibitions with specific themes, culminating every five years in “Matter of Clay,” the gallery’s largest national exhibition.
