Legendary Canadian singer-songwriter Ian Tamblyn returns to London! Born in Thunder Bay in 1947, Ian has been writing and performing for decades, recording 45+ albums and producing for over 30 other artists.
An Officer of the Order of Canada (2021), JUNO award winner, and Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society, Ian holds an honorary doctorate from Lakehead University. His iconic song “Woodsmoke and Oranges” has been performed by close to 100 choirs across North America and Europe.
Ian’s songs have been covered by over 40 artists, and his work has earned numerous awards including the Jackie Washington Award, Victor Tolgasy Award, Estelle Klein Award, and J.D. Coulsen Award. His song “Angel’s Share” is often performed by the Canadian Celtic Choir in an arrangement by Londoner Jeff Christmas.
