Tool Making Presented by Lower Thames Valley Conservation Area (Family)
Participants learn about trade and the necessities of life as they work in teams to create tools using some of the same materials that would have been used in the past (and some modern equipment we’ve thrown in to help along the way).

About This Event
This hands-on educational program, presented by the Lower Thames Valley Conservation Area, teaches families about historical trade and the necessities of life through practical tool-making activities. Participants work in teams to create tools using materials and techniques similar to those used in the past, with some modern equipment added to help the process.
This program provides an excellent opportunity to learn about heritage skills and understand how our ancestors lived and worked.
